My Heart for Intimate Relationships
By Shawnna Jocelyn, Co-Founder of Intimacy Project
I’ve always believed that relationships are the heartbeat of life. Whether it’s the bond between a husband and wife, the connection between parents and children, or even the friendships that shape our days, these relationships define us. But I’ve also seen how easily those connections can be lost—how misunderstandings, hurt, or even the busyness of life can create distance. That’s why I’m so passionate about bringing people together to form intimate relationships that are not just functional, but fulfilling and deeply rooted in love and faith.
This isn’t just about romantic relationships; it’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s about helping couples rekindle their spark, showing families how to communicate better, and teaching individuals how to heal so they can build healthy connections. Balancing my own family, faith, and this mission hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth every moment. When I see people grow closer to each other and God, I know we’re doing the work we were called to do.
-
Intimacy Starts with Openness: Real relationships are built when we let our walls down and let others in.
-
Listening Changes Everything: When we truly hear each other, we build bridges of understanding and trust.
-
Faith is the Anchor: God-centered relationships have a strength that can weather any storm.
-
Small Moments Matter: A kind word, a shared prayer, or even a laugh together can transform a connection.
-
Healing Brings Hope: Helping people let go of past hurts opens the door to deeper, healthier relationships.
For me, this work isn’t just about teaching people tools and techniques—it’s about changing lives. I want to help others experience the kind of relationships that make you feel safe, cherished, and closer to God. It’s about creating a community where love, faith, and connection thrive.
I’m grateful for this journey and excited to walk it with you. Together, we can build relationships that truly reflect the intimacy God designed for us all.
